The “America, We Have a Problem” design from Reminiscent Wear takes a hard look at issues that have impacted communities across generations—police brutality and excessive force, drug abuse, violence, and the conflict happening within our own communities.
Told through a bold comic-inspired design, each panel represents a different part of a larger conversation. Encounters between police and citizens. Drugs destroying lives and communities. People turning against one another through violence and fighting.
Different problems. Different experiences. One America.
The message isn't meant to provide an easy answer. It's meant to make us acknowledge that these problems exist—and ask what happens when we stop treating them as someone else's problem.
Because remembering the past isn't always about nostalgia. Sometimes, remembering means recognizing the struggles that continue to shape the present.
